Building alone is overrated.

It’s not more hustle. It’s better community. Here’s how to find it.

Community Is My Best Growth Strategy Yet

I know, I know — I promised you one newsletter a week.

But I’m back with a surprise midweek drop.

Once a month, I’m slipping something extra in your inbox — quick, tactical hits that didn’t quite fit inside Saturday’s newsletter… but are too good not to share.

Let’s get into it…

You can only go so far alone.

The biggest leaps I’ve made in my business didn’t come from a podcast, webinar, or late-night YouTube university binge.

They came from being in the room — learning from other creators and entrepreneurs who’ve done what I’m trying to do. Swapping stories. Sharing wins. Asking the questions no one will post online.

That’s why I’m excited about CONNECT, Teachable’s first-ever in-person conference for creators in partnership with Creator Economy NYC. It’s happening May 10th in Brooklyn, and if you’re a builder, this is the room you want to be in.

Real conversations. Real strategy. Real community.

This isn’t just for content creators — it’s for entrepreneurs who are serious about growing what they know into something that lasts.

Because you follow Content to Commas, I’m giving you $100 off with code BRANDONCONNECT

If you want to build a real community that accelerates your growth, here’s a simple two-step play:

2 Steps to Build Real Community (Without Overcomplicating It)

1️⃣ Get in the room.

Attend events, meetups, dinners, and conferences — anywhere your niche is gathering. The goal isn’t just to listen. It’s to connect.

Start local: check platforms like Luma, Eventbrite, and Meetup to find gatherings in your niche.

If you’re not near any major events, lean into digital.

Strengthen your online relationships by setting up quick intro chats with entrepreneurs you admire or want to learn from.

Growth happens when you stop lurking — and start reaching out.

2️⃣ Ask better questions.

Skip the small talk — go deeper, faster.

When you meet other entrepreneurs or creators, don’t just ask what they do.

Ask how they do it.

  • What systems are helping them scale?

  • What challenges are they wrestling with right now?

  • What lessons do they wish they’d learned earlier?

You’ll be surprised how generous people are when you lead with real curiosity — not just surface-level networking.

The better your questions, the better your connections.

I’ll be at CONNECT all day on May 10th — and if you’re there, don’t be shy.

Seriously. If you see me, tap me on the shoulder, interrupt me, and ask whatever’s on your mind.

You have full permission.

We’re in this together. Let’s grow together.
