It wasn’t luck. You engineered a strong hook, great creative, and an easy ask.
👋 Welcome back to Content to Commas, your weekly playbook to monetize your content, grow strategically, and build authority in your niche.
Quick life update: 75 Hard has me focused, healthy, & a little hangry, client work is at an all-time high, and my Q4 schedule is locked in.
In the middle of the week, two posts reached 10X my average views/impressions. One was even written on a plane when I realized I had nothing scheduled that day.
That wasn’t a fluke. It was a repeatable framework.
Today I’ll show you how to autopsy your wins, reverse-engineer mechanics with AI, and build a swipe vault that makes repurposing effortless.
In this issue:

My daily stack by Huel for being a healthy founder (today’s partner)
Let’s get to work.
— Brandon Smithwrick
The last two months, I’ve gotten very serious about my health and recovery.
Full blood work, a gut test, the whole thing. I’ve taken greens daily for years, but dialing in protein, macros, and consistency has been the unlock.
When the client calls stack and I’m squeezing in workouts, Huel is my no-excuses meal.
It’s the easiest way I’ve found to hit macros, keep energy steady, and not default to junk when the day gets chaotic.

🩺 The Post-Mortem Playbook: how to stop guessing
Ten years of running social for brands taught me one rule: match the incentive.
Facebook rewards comment velocity and dwell time on a post.
YouTube rewards strong SEO, CTR, and watch time.
TikTok rewards watches after 3s and video completion rate.
LinkedIn rewards saves and real comments.
Twitch rewards active chat.
I've done this for big brands, now I want to do it for your content.
Let’s figure out why good posts are … good. (poetic, I know)
⬇ Use the framework below to read those signals, pull the right levers, and repeat.
1. what to dissect and why
Visibility is monetization … if you use it right.
A strong post isn’t luck. It’s the result of choices that aligned perfectly.
Run an autopsy on your post, isolate the levers, and reuse them next time.
The AUTOPSY framework:
A — Audience fit: Who exactly was this for? What pain point did it solve?
U — Unique angle: What fresh POV or contrast did you introduce?
T — Title/Hook: The first 1–2 lines. What exact words stopped the scroll?
O — Offer: What did you ask for (comment, click, save, reply) and how frictionless was it?
P — Proof: Screenshots, receipts, numbers, testimonials … what sealed the deal?
S — Structure: Format + length (80–120 words, carousel, 30s video), pacing, whitespace.
Y — “Yes” signals: Saves, shares, profile views, replies, DMs? what signals spiked beyond likes?
Your next move is to copy your post into a note.
Under each letter above, write one sentence.
Circle the strongest lever (hook, proof, or offer).
That’s your foundation to now remix this for the next post.
2. reverse-engineer with AI
Copying a post bar for bar is lazy.
Copying the mechanics? … I mean, that’s just smart.
You can use AI to analyze your post wins or deconstruct the wins of other people, then rebuild in your voice for your niche.
Paste your post or link or transcript and run this prompt:
You are my content forensics analyst and content strategist who creates content that gets 10,000,000+ views/impressions. You understand human psychology and what makes people stop scrolling on social media. You’ve analyzed and studied platform algorithms and have a deep understanding of what they prioritize and what gets a user’s post ranked highly, considering everything from the hook to dwell time to shareability to what garners comments and saves. Your job is to analyze the content below and tell me: 1) Audience + one-line pain point. 2) Hook breakdown (claim, tension, specificity; why it stops the scroll). 3) Structure map (format, length, beats, pacing). 4) Proof elements (screenshots, numbers, testimonials). 5) CTA + friction (what action, how easy). 6) Distribution context (timing, platform norms used). 7) Three reusable mechanics, stated abstractly, that I can apply again. 8) An 80–100 word rewrite in my voice for [MY NICHE/TOPIC] using the same mechanics from a new angle. 9) If video, include a shot list (opening frame, A-roll/B-roll, on-screen text, cut cadence) and audio beats (pattern interrupts, pause points). 10) If text, include the hook schema and CTA style. 11) Three experiments to test next week (change only one variable: hook, proof, or ask). Think deeply about this and report back; my job depends on it. Content to analyze: [PASTE LINK OR TEXT]
🔼 This is actually the short version.
I've created a comprehensive AI prompt specifically for this community, so you can copy and apply it to your content.
3. build your hall of fame
A win is a waste if you don’t understand it.
That’s why I love using a swipe vault, which turns one good post into ten copycats and a repeatable format library you can reference weekly.
You're busy … so copy mine 👇
You can use Notion or a Google Sheet, but you want to know the following:
Title, Format, Hook, CTA, Topic, Goal (reach/lead/sale), Metrics (ER, saves, profile views, CTR).
Bonus, you can even score your favs (1–5).
Copy that template above and save your top posts 5–10 each month, and any comment threads that convert.
How to use your vault on new content:
Same hook, new example: Keep the first two lines, change the proof and CTA.
Same proof, new angle: Tell the same receipt with a different lesson.
Format flip: Turn a 120-word post into a 4-slide carousel or 30-second voiceover.

🎶 More content, less vibe posting
You already did the hard part … making something people cared about and hitting publish.
Now do the smart part.
“yOu dOn’t nEeD nEw iDeAs, yOu nEeD tO rEpUrPoSe tHe oNeS yOu hAvE.” - unknown
I hate jargon, and I know I promised no recycled tips, but … repurpose your post please🤦.
Open your vault, break down what’s working, and schedule a new remix.
Stop guessing. Start stealing from yourself.
Know someone who needs this? Forward it to a creator, a founder, or your social team so they can put the Autopsy Framework to work this week.
